Will, Luke K. and I went to the Atlanta Zoo on Tuesday to feed the lemurs. The zoo keeper taught us about lemurs. She showed us the lemurs skull. I saw that they have big eye sockets. It helps them to see in the dark, so the lemurs are nocturnal. Next she gave us doctor's masks and gloves. We had to wear them so the lemurs wouldn't get sick. Then we went behind the cage. She gave us two peppers and we fed the lemurs. We had a lot of fun feeding the lemurs.

I have heard that lemurs live in Madagascar. Do they live any other places? looks like a great trip.
ReplyDeleteHi Jack and Will! Thanks for teaching me about Lemurs. They do have big eyes-and big mouths! What do they eat besides peppers ? I wonder if they make a lot of noise with those big mouths? Did you hear them hooting or anything?
